I’m interested in studying the relationship between people who smoke per week and the number of hours spent exercising.
If I use a random sample...wouldn't that be wrong b/c i will be sleecting people under 13 b/c i'm randomly choosing people? I don't get it????

You could choose a random sample of people over 18.
Reply:When you choose someone randomly, if you want to exclude people under 13, you ask their age and drop the sample if they are 13 (don't ask any questions) and go to another person who is a smoker as well as an exerciser and the minimum age you want.
